Dr Deborah Elijah

My name is Dr Deborah Elijah, I graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2011. I have been working in Canberra and Queanbeyan since I graduated. I was born in Canberra and have completed all of my schooling years here. I was happy to be able to return home after completing my Dentistry course.

I am committed to working with you to address your oral health concerns and needs. My focus is to present you with options and to ensure you have all the information you need to select the best treatment for your individual situation.

I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry. When I am not working in private practice I also work at the Queanbeyan oral health service, which is the public dental clinic in Queanbeyan. I have seen a wide variety of conditions and cases there, including those with complex medical histories. Working there also allows me to participate in projects to help the community and also learn more about the over all condition of oral health in the public. I also manage a number of anxious patients both in my work in private and public practice.

I am a committee member of the local study group. This allows me to meet and work with other dentists in the Canberra region. It also keeps me up to date on what’s occurring in the world of dentistry. I also enjoy learning more about dentistry and about new techniques and treatments. 

My other interests are in crown and bridge work, restoration of dental implants and Endodontics.
